You can’t walk down the street without seeing people’s faces in a screen. Whether it is a phone, tablet, or computer, we have it and we are watching it. Teenagers spend a quarter of their day in front of a screen. That fact isn’t a surprising one. Especially since the younger generation was practically born with a phone in their hands.

Millennials are the ones always on their phones. The problem is with the Millennials but the better question is where did they learn it from? Where does anyone learn anything? Their parents.

FLOTUS, Michelle Obama, joined Snapchat yesterday but her intentions were not to just share silly selfies and puppy filters. Her second snap that was sent was with James Cordon announcing she will appear on Carpool Karaoke with the Late Late Show host.

The airdate of the segment has yet to be released but some teaser footage has been released on her Snapchat. Michelle Obama is by far the best and most involved First Lady the United States and her collection of social media accounts proves it.

Smart Phones and Birth Control


“Ask if Birth Control is Right for You” is a sketch by Amy Schumer turning the hurdle filled mission to get birth control into a satire that women can laugh at but still understand the struggle. Being a woman seems to come with a cornucopia of issues which shouldn’t have to include getting pregnant when they want to but it does.

Amy has to ask a boy scout, the mail man, her boss, a priest, social media, Jeeves, her mother’s boyfriend, and the Supreme Court to see if she can get birth control only to be questioned on why she has sex for fun. She finally gets it, only to have to go through all of it again the next month.

It’s the modern age with educated Millennials and super computers; shouldn’t there be a solution to this?  There might be.

You can now get birth control from an app but is it a solution to one problem and causing another one?
