You can’t walk down the street without seeing people’s faces in a screen. Whether it is a phone, tablet, or computer, we have it and we are watching it. Teenagers spend a quarter of their day in front of a screen. That fact isn’t a surprising one. Especially since the younger generation was practically born with a phone in their hands.

Millennials are the ones always on their phones. The problem is with the Millennials but the better question is where did they learn it from? Where does anyone learn anything? Their parents.

Presidential Cookie Poll

In attempts to try to lighten this mess of an election, Family Circle is bringing back the Presidential Cookie Poll. The concept is a simple one. Go onto the Family Circle website, make a batch of Melania Trump’s Star Cookies and a batch of the Clinton Family Chocolate Chip Cookies. Taste and then cast your vote on the ones you like the best.

Why Does Katherine Heigl have to Apologize?

9 years Knocked Up was released and was an instant hit. It catapulted the careers of Judd Apatow and Seth Rogan. It helped Katherine Heigl successfully move from the small screen to the silver screen. Heigl was set until she bit the hand the fed her.

[Knocked up] is a little sexist. It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters, and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I’m playing such a bitch; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you’re portraying women? Ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie.

Heigl’s comments were not the best things to say about a movie that started your movie career but why does she need to backpedal or apologize? Robert Pattinson criticized Twilight the whole run of the franchise.  Bill Murray said that he starred in Garfield by accident. David Cross said that Chipwrecked was the worst time of his life. Why does Heigl have to apologize for a comment made 9 years ago?  Continue reading “Why Does Katherine Heigl have to Apologize?”
